Trang Domoret

She states, "I am Canadian. We moved to the Silicon Valley back in 2016 for my husband's job. I started biking in spring of 2020 all because I wanted to do my very first triathlon event at Donner Lake. I discovered that I truly love biking. It brings me so much joy just to be on my bike. This is why it doesn't matter whether I'm on the track, riding dirt or on the road, I just absolutely love playing bikes."

She continues, "I've climbed the 4 famous peaks in the Bay all in a single ride back in May of 2022 (it's on Strava if you would like to have a look). I guess the 4 peaks are Mt. Tamalpais, Mt. Diablo, Mt. Hamilton and Mt. Umunhum. After this challenge I felt that I needed a new challenge or cycling goals so at the beginning of 2023."

"I started racing at Hellyer Velodrome. Then at the end of 2023 I started doing some crits. I attended Giro Di SF (placed 3rd), I did Oakland Grand Prix and won district in my age Category and then did Livermore to end my year and didn't place well with that one. This year I did my first race at Cal Aggie and placed 3rd again in my Category. I realized that I need mentorship and teammates if I am to have a fun and successful year."

"My goals for the year:
1) to be improve my skills for all disciplines (road, crits, gravel, track)
2) to have fun
3) to learn racing tactics
4) to be a good teammate"
