Tim Turnbull

Tim joined LGBRC in 2010. When asked how he got into cycling he responded, "In 1982 my boss posted a sign-up sheet for a triathlon relay team. At that time I was already biking to work and everywhere else. Then I met my best friend Lee Jones; since then we have been riding and racing for 28 years. We decided to start racing again this year after my last daughter left for college. " 
       
"In 1983 I completed and finish a 700-miler in 56 hr.and 46 min. Two months after that I completed in and finished a 500-miler. I got my wife in cycling two years ago."
         
Tim adds, "I have worked for Western Exterminator Company. I'm a branch manager and use cycling as great stress breaker."
